Our handmade log homes are crafted from quality slow grown timber. These log buildings have a truly unique character and are hand crafted bespoke designs made specifically for each customer. Each hand scribed log home is carefully carved and assembled under cover to a completed log frame and then numbered and disassembled before being shipped to site for final assembly and completion.
This depends on many factors, firstly we need an outline design to be able to provide you with an estimation of cost.

How Soon Can You Have a Handmade Log House?
It takes at least 6 months from sourcing the standing trees from sustainable forests to preparing and building the log frame for each unique handmade log cabin
Like any natural timber exposed to the elements it must be kept protected by applying protective paint periodically. This should be assessed on an annual basis with the typical period between coats being 3-5 years for a stain and longer for solid colours. The other key factor is the quality of the timber, we only use slow grown imported timber from cold regions where the climate ensures a slow growth rate. UK timber grows too quickly.
